Lions Administrators
I am a proud 1998 graduate of Rosa Fort High School. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi. With a commitment to education, I pursued a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction as well as an Educational Specialist degree, both from the University of Mississippi. My educational career spans over two decades, encompassing a diverse range of educational settings from Pre-K to high school teacher, District Technology Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and currently Principal at Tunica Middle School.
As the visionary leader for Tunica Middle School, I am committed to ensuring that students receive a quality education that will equip them with the tools they need to excel in today’s everchanging society. It is also my commitment to be a consistent resource to the faculty and staff responsible educating the young scholars at Tunica Middle School.
Assistant Principals
I want to begin by saying how excited I am to participate in this school year’s journey with you. I am Robert A. Leflore, Jr. I am proud to be the Assistant Principal at Tunica Middle School.
I am a native of Tunica, MS. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and a Master’s Degree in Arts in Teaching, both from Mississippi Valley State University. I also received an Endorsement in Leadership from Administrative Program (MAPQSL) Mississippi Alternate Path to Quality School Leadership.
I have had the opportunity to teach, coach, and be a leader in my 23 years here in the Tunica County School District.
When I’m not working for the district, you can find me traveling, at sporting events, and being a great husband and father to my wife and 3 daughters.
As a lifelong learner, my hope is that my efforts will inspire every student I encounter to be Successful and dream BIG!!
